The first idea or “project
really enjoyed was the bus drivers putting their backgrounds aside to
transport their users. All of the “projects encomised a sort of smaller
community that’s diverse and open to have the hard conversations that cover
topics like discrimination, drug use, the differences between race and religion.
Not only is it constructive its also brave because it can sometimes mean having
to face even more serious topics like death and hate.
Another topic I had trouble finding peace with was that
these are also all initiatives to break down the assumptions placed in our
society about minorities, through what they call “discursive or Communicative
art” Why is this?
The art of Conversation. A conversation is so crucial to all
art because if there isn’t a discussion about it weather it be visual or social
or political, it will die. I specifically found the second paragraph on page 8 line
24 to be very moving!
Q1:
Why is it that This form of political performative or art
for social change is a filter and not the art its self and b self and by what means
are we allowed or even attempt criticize it weather its “good” or “bad” art?
Q2: What makes the critique for this kind of are non-biased?
Q3: I had trouble with the sentence on page 13, paragraph two,
why is it that “capitalist commodities, have to be portrayed nonconstructive”?
